It was announced on 4 September 2013, and was launched worldwide in October 2013. It is the successor to the original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. The model numbers were originally going to be GT-N8100, GT-N8110, and GT-N8120 for the 3G, Wi-Fi, and LTE variants, respectively, before becoming SM-P601/P602, SM-P600, and SM-P605. -
