Acceptable Use Policy

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the platform to:

• Submit fraudulent repair records, device histories, or certification evidence
• Manipulate trust scores, review ratings, or marketplace rankings through artificial means
• Sell stolen, counterfeit, or illegally obtained devices or parts
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data using automated tools without written permission
• Impersonate another person, business, or RepairYour.Tech staff
• Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or security controls

2. Marketplace Conduct

• Listings must accurately describe the condition, origin, and functionality of items
• Prices must be stated in the listing currency with applicable taxes disclosed
• Sellers must fulfill orders within the stated handling time
• Disputes must be resolved through the platform's dispute-resolution and mediation process

3. Shop & Technician Obligations

Certified shops and technicians must:

• Maintain accurate capability and certification declarations
• Submit verifiable repair records within 48 hours of service completion
• Respond to consumer disputes within 5 business days
• Not claim certifications or capabilities they do not possess

4. Content Standards

All content submitted to forums, reviews, or knowledge base articles must be accurate, respectful, and relevant. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards or applicable law.

5. Enforcement

Violations are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. Depending on severity, enforcement actions may include: content removal, account restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent termination, and referral to law enforcement.
