Marketplace Seller Terms

Version 1.0.0 — Last updated: June 8, 2026

These terms apply to anyone listing items for sale on the marketplace, in addition to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Eligibility & verification

To receive payouts you must complete payment-provider onboarding, including identity verification and tax information collection. You cannot publish paid listings or receive funds until your payment account's requirements are satisfied and charges and payouts are enabled.

2. Listing accuracy

  • Describe condition, origin, functionality, and included accessories accurately, using the published condition grades.
  • Use real photos of the actual item. No stock images for used or refurbished goods.
  • Disclose defects, repairs, aftermarket parts, and any warranty status.
  • State prices in the listing currency with applicable taxes handled as described below.

3. Prohibited & restricted items

You may not list stolen goods, devices with active activation locks you cannot clear, counterfeit parts, recalled or unsafe items, or anything you are not legally entitled to sell. Items failing a lost/stolen check will be removed and may be reported.

4. Payouts

Buyer payments are held by our payment provider and released to your connected payout account after the order is confirmed complete or the inspection window closes. Payout timing follows your payment account's schedule. RepairYour.Tech never takes custody of your funds in its own bank account.

5. Platform fees

A marketplace fee applies to completed sales, disclosed on the Marketplace Fees page. Payment-processing fees are passed through at cost.

6. Taxes & information reporting

Where RepairYour.Tech is a marketplace facilitator, we may calculate, collect, and remit sales tax on facilitated sales. You are responsible for your own income taxes. Depending on your sales volume and applicable thresholds, you may receive a tax information return (for example, a Form 1099) for amounts paid to you, and you must keep your tax information current.

7. Returns, refunds & disputes

You agree to honor the Refunds, Returns & Buyer Protection policy, respond to disputes within your response window, and cover return shipping for not-as-described, defective, or counterfeit items. Refunds and chargebacks may be recovered from your balance or future payouts.

8. Suspension

We may pause payouts, hold reserves, remove listings, or suspend selling privileges for policy violations, elevated dispute or fraud rates, or unresolved buyer harm.
