This explains how we use AI on RepairYour.Tech and its limits. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. AI outputs are suggestions, not certified judgment
AI diagnostics, triage results, and repair suggestions are informational aids. They do not replace the judgment of a qualified technician, and we do not guarantee they are accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific device. Always verify before acting, and consult a certified professional for safety-critical repairs.
2. Device diagnostics — not human health data
"Health" language on the platform refers to the condition of devices (for example, battery health). It does not refer to human medical information and is not medical advice.
3. Human review for consequential decisions
Where AI could influence access to jobs, payouts, rankings, trust or accountability status, claims, disputes, or eligibility, a person reviews the outcome and you may request human review or appeal. AI is not the sole decision-maker for these outcomes.
4. Your data and AI
We do not include sensitive personal identifiers in AI model requests. How we handle the content you provide to AI features is described in our Privacy Policy and you can exercise your privacy rights over it.
5. Reporting a problem
If an AI suggestion seems wrong or unsafe, tell us at [email protected] so we can review it.
