Why this grade
Most repair-friendly of the group. Toyota's Technical Information System (techinfo.toyota.com / TIS) gives the public and independent shops subscription access to full service manuals, wiring diagrams, TSBs, ECU software updates and programming guides, plus the Techstream/GTS+ diagnostic software — at relatively affordable rates (roughly $20-25/month, ~$200-250/year). Toyota Genuine Parts are widely available at competitive pricing through multiple ordering programs (RepairLink, Microcat PartsBridge, OPSTrax, CollisionLink) on top of a mature aftermarket, and Toyota publishes consumer 'repair rights' material affirming independent-shop service. It is bound by the July 2023 industry R2R commitment. Drags: as an Alliance for Automotive Innovation member it shares the industry's contested telematics-data stance, and Techstream/TIS access is subscription-gated rather than open. Best info access, affordability and parts depth in the cohort.
