Why this grade

LG publishes a Right-to-Repair stance and public YouTube part-replacement videos, and TV boards/backlight strips are well stocked via Encompass, iFixit and third-party sellers; iFixit hosts numerous LG TV board and LED-strip guides. However iFixit's investigation names LG (with Samsung) among the worst for sharing official service documentation, so schematics come mainly from leaked-manual repositories. TVs have no parts pairing, so swaps aren't software-locked. As with all brands, panel replacement is not economical (part cost approximates a new set), capping the score.
