Why this grade

Signed an AFBF Right-to-Repair MOU (effective May 2023) covering Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra, Challenger and others, with framework access to technical manuals, tools, guides and the ability to lease diagnostic tools and order parts in all 50 states + Puerto Rico. AGCO maintains a public 'Service and Information Resources for Customers' portal, and its Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) is obtainable by independent shops as a one-time purchase without a mandatory recurring subscription tied to core functionality — the most open diagnostic posture of this group, which lifts its software_lock and pricing scores slightly. Still constrained by the same MOU carve-outs (no emissions/safety/power adjustments) and the broad PIRG/Repair.org critique that the MOUs stop short of full dealer-equivalent access, so kept at the top of the D band rather than C.
